OUR MINISTRIES

An accepting and nurturing Church,
changing lives through faith in Christ

At Lichfield Methodist Church, we believe that everyone is welcome, regardless of their age and background.

We are a vibrant and inclusive church for all ages where all are valued and supported, and where you can feel at home.

We express our worship in a variety of styles to reflect diverse needs and preferences. Our weekly 10.30am service blends a traditional and contemporary approach, with age-appropriate provision for children, with a contemplative service on alternating Sundays at 9am.

Our commitment to being a justice-seeking church is expressed in a variety of ways including environmental sustainability, involvement in Fair Trade, expressing welcome for refugees and supporting several charities.

Bible Lessons

We want our members to grow in their relationship with Christ, providing numerous opportunities for discipleship. This includes: Bible Studies, Wesley Guild, prayer ministries, Methodist Women in Britain and a Causeway group for adults with additional needs.

VENUE BOOKINGS

Our church building, which was built in the 1800s, has undergone several renovations over the years. A team works hard to keep it well-maintained and several of our rooms are available for hire. The church is primarily funded through the generosity of its members.
